Bertie:
Bertie is a red bus who once had a race with Thomas. After the race, he and
Thomas became friends.

Terence:
Terence is a tractor who can work in any weather in any situation. For example,
he pulled Thomas from the snow after he got stuck, and he pulled Bertie from the mud during the vicar’s fete!

Harold:
Always ready for action, Harold the helicopter keeps on the look out for anyone
in distress. He thinks railways are slow and out of date. But Percy proved that Rails are better when he beat Harold in a
race!
Debuts S2 - Percy and Harold/ Percy proves a point.
Trevor:
Trevor is a traction engine who was going to be scrapped, because his master
thought he was old fashioned. But, Edward saved him from scrap and the Vicar bought him. Now he is cleaned up and chuffers
about the vicarage orchard, and is great friends with Edward.
Debuts Series 2 - Saved from Scrap.
Bulgy:
Bulgy is a double decker bus who was left in a field and used as a hen house
after getting wedged under the bridge. He was soon back on the road, and now
spends his time as a vegetable shop on wheels.

Caroline:
Caroline is an old car who does not like going fast, as she suffers from overheating.
She was chasing Stepney after the cricketers’ ball got lost in the trucks.
She overheated and was pulled back to the bridge where the cricket match was being held.
Debuts S4 - Train Stops Play
George:
George is a steamroller who wants to rip up rails and turn them into roads.
His catchphrase is “Railways are no good, turn ‘em into roads! Pull ‘em up, turn ‘em into roads!”

S.C.Ruffey:
S.C.Ruffey is the notorious leader of a group of trucks who sang rude songs
about Oliver who fell down the turntable well. Until Oliver ripped him apart. There is talk of him returning in Series 10.

Bulstrode:
Bulstrode is a disagreeable barge! He never stops complaining. After an accident
with the trucks, he was salvaged and was left on the beach so he became a playboat for children.

Horrid Lorries:
The name describes these 3 ruffians. They are horrid lorries who were sent
to do the engines work, because they were branded too slow by the lorries themselves.
Debuts S5 - Horrid Lorry
Cranky:
Cranky the crane never gets a nap. He never gets to sleep early, he works all
the time. And his only company are the gulls that settle on his arm. So, Cranky is always cranky. He first caused trouble
for Thomas and Percy, calling them bugs. After a storm and an accident from a tramp steamer, that
night, he fell over and had to be rescued by Thomas and Percy.

Elizabeth:
Elizabeth is a dirty grimy steam lorry, and the first lorry the Fat Controller
bought. She can be rude at times.
Debuts S6 - Elizabeth the vintage lorry.
Jack and the Pack
Jack:
Jack is an eager for work machine with a front scoop! He
has a tendency to jump in.
Alfie:
Alfie is an escavator who loves to have fun. He and Jack
are good friends.
Byron:
Byron is a bulldozer who likes to think that building trenches are a work of
art.
